ABOUT KARAKTER SOUND

Karakter Sound is an audio post-production company located in the north of Amsterdam founded in 2022 by Jaim Sahuleka. Jaim is a seasoned sound designer with a background in music, who has been working in the sector since 1999 and has over 100 film credits. Karakter Sound is made up of a small team of talented freelancers who can jump in according to the needs of the project, for instance with Foley or ADR.

 

We offer a wide variety of services in sound post-production for film:

• sound design

• sound mixing (Dolby Atmos, 7.1, 5.1 and stereo formats)

• voice over / ADR recording

• Foley

Our work focuses mainly on arthouse feature films and documentaries, both international coproductions (read more about coproductions in services) and Dutch productions. Recent titles include feature film Amoeba (official selection TIFF 2025) and the documentary Monikondee (Awarded at Cinéma du Réel 2025).
